Applied ICT Skills Certification Overview

  • The Applied Skills program is designed to help teachers begin to use multi-media and productivity software for content creation, enhancement of classroom instruction and learning activities, and communication.
  • Introductory workshops covering the basics of using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint will make up the bulk of the productivity software training.
  • The use of digital audio, video, and images for student learning and teacher development of learning objects will be the focus of the multi-media training sessions.
