ICT Applied Skills 2.3Microsoft PowerPoint 2008 is the latest version of PowerPoint for Macintosh. In this workshop you will learn to use some of PowerPoint's easy-to-use features to create stunning presentations. You will learn how to create learning objects that can be shared with your students.
Teachers will learn:
• how to create a basic presentation with lists, images, tables and other elements
• Put text and pictures on slides.
• Navigate in the PowerPoint window.
• Apply a design template.
• Arrange slide content by using layouts.
• Print handouts and notes.
• Prepare to present a PowerPoint show.
This workshop is three hrs long and will take place as two, 1.5 hr classes.
This workshop is available as a "Workshop on Demand." Contact one of the Technology Helping Teachers to arrange to have this workshop delivered to your staff on site OR arrange to have a group of teachers take the workshop at Digital Learning Centre @ CORE (Google Maps).
