Introduction to Microsoft PowerPoint

ICT Applied Skills 2.3
Microsoft PowerPoint 2008 is the latest version of PowerPoint for Macintosh. In this workshop you will learn to use some of PowerPoint's easy-to-use features to create stunning presentations. You will learn how to create learning objects that can be shared with your students. 

Teachers will learn:

• how to create a basic presentation with lists, images, tables and other elements
• Put text and pictures on slides.
• Navigate in the PowerPoint window.
• Apply a design template.
• Arrange slide content by using layouts.
• Print handouts and notes.
• Prepare to present a PowerPoint show.

This workshop is three hrs long and will take place as two, 1.5 hr classes.

This workshop is available as a "Workshop on Demand." Contact one of the Technology Helping Teachers to arrange to have this workshop delivered to your staff on site OR arrange to have a group of teachers take the workshop at Digital Learning Centre @ CORE (Google Maps).
