FirstClass: Using iPhoto and FirstClass to Build a Web Photo Gallery

1. Select photos in iPhoto that you wish to use in your gallery. You can create an album or just select the photos using the Apple Key (for non-sequential choices) or the Shift Key for blocks of photos.




2. From the  File Menu, choose=> Export



3. Choose your options for the gallery



4. Create a folder on your desktop and save the gallery into it
a. Click on the desktop
b. Create a new folder to save the gallery into
c. Name the gallery
d. Click Create
e. Click OK



5. In FirstClass, open your Web Publishing folder (Command 4 ~ Mac) (Control 4 ~ Windows)



6. Upload the Gallery
a. From the File Menu, choose Upload
b. Go to your desktop
c. click on the folder you created called funphotos
d. Click Choose




7. Make note of where the gallery is now located


8. Link to your gallery from an existing webpage
a. Type some words, select them
b. Click on the Link Tool
c. Type in the exact name of the folder



9. If you are using an older version of iPhoto (there is no index.html file in the folder),
 you will need to do what is shown below


10. View on the internet.
