Troubleshooting Your Blackberry

Setup Problems

  1. Ensure that EDGE is in the upper right corner of screen.  If it is lower case, pull and reinsert battery to restart Blackberry.  Try this a couple of times if necessary.
  2. If it is still lowercase, you may not have a Blackberry data plan.  Check that you have the right dataplan.
  3. Wipe the device clean:
    1. Options menu
    2. Security Options
    3. General Settings
    4. Press Menu button
    5. Wipe Handheld
    6. Enter "Blackberry"
  4. Call Rogers Wireless Support (1 866 931-3282)

Sync Problems

  1. Ensure you have connectivity.
  2. Pull battery out and reinsert to restart device.
  3. If sync problems continue contact Tom van Hunenstijn on Abbynet (FirstClass).
